World Crypto Conference 2019 in Vegas Welcomes Facebook’s Big Bet on Cryptocurrency

By the time World Crypto Conference (WCC) gets underway October 29-31, 2019, at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, more should be known about Facebook’s proposed cryptocurrency, Libra. The company has promised further details, with the release of a white paper scheduled for June 16. Deliberation of Libra will likely dominate discussion at the conference. The social media giant is so big that talk of its proposed stablecoin is destined to suck some oxygen out of the room.
However, tales of Facebook (NASDAQ: FB) will not be the only ones told at WCC. Hosted by event management company EVOLV, the second annual blockchain and cryptocurrency technology conference will feature demos and discussions from a wide range of companies, as well as panels with and presentations by notable keynote speakers and thought leaders. For three days, participants will be treated to a series of functions that include a main conference (WCC 2019), a multiple blockchain developer conference (WCC DEV CON), a mining conference (WCC MINE 2019), educational workshops, the World Crypto Poker Tournament (WCPT), multiple networking events, a massive Bitcoin Birthday Party (CryptOween) and much more. WCC is being held as part of Vegas Blockchain Week 2019, which runs from October 25-31, 2019, and is also being organized by EVOLV (www.EVOLV.events).
The focus of WCC 2019 is to convene the fragmented blockchain community for a forum that provokes dialogue and offers opportunities to build long-term relationships. Blockchain technology offers the promise of providing disruptive solutions that may mitigate or eliminate market inefficiencies. However, successful implementation, in many instances, requires rethinking current business paradigms and methodologies – processes that are best fostered by gatherings like WCC, which provide meeting points for producers and developers in the blockchain and crypto ecosystems.
Event organizers EVOLV would like World Crypto Conference and Vegas Blockchain Week to be the most important conference week for blockchain technology and cryptocurrency in 2019. At these forums, industry executives will be expected to answer difficult questions, address past failures, lay the roadmap for future success and preview or launch the next major advancements coming from blockchain technology. EVOLV has invited thought leaders from around the globe to share their views. Presentations will be organized into four tracks: general session & keynotes, B2B and B2C solutions, mining & infrastructure, and technology & developers.
